4/11/2015 0 Comments Chicago in Polaroid Pictures I carried my Polaroid in my purse for the first 2 days, forgetting to use it. But, once I got it out, it was hard to put away. It makes everything look old or vintage. I LOVE being able to hold my stack of pictures, and show them off. The picture of the Bean is probably my favorite.
The second picture is of my roommates and I. Four girls in one hotel room equals zero sleep. But, our adrenaline overcompensated for our tiredness. The third picture is 3 of my friends snuggling together on a boat. We took an architecture tour of Chicago through the river. Though it was beautiful, it was FREEZING! Using my Polaroid is SO fun, I just need to remember to use it more often!

4/4/2015 1 Comment Sunny In Chicago: 2015 Last week, I went to Chicago with my school show choir. What an amazing experience! It is such a beautiful city. I especially loved the Cloud Gate, or The Bean. Seriously, I went to it like 4 times during the week. Also, we went to the Field museum, where Night at The Museum was shot. That was super cool!
We went to the top of Willis Tower , where you can stand on the Ledge. Scary! We also took a little walk to The Art Institute of Chicago, which had some famous art that was so cool seeing. It had Vincent van Gogh's self portrait, and American Gothic. Finally, we went to see Beauty and The Beast. That was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen! Chicago now has a place in my heart. I definitely want to go back some day. 4/4/2015 0 Comments Baby Charlie While in Chicago, my dad and his family drove down from Wisconsin. This was the first time I had seen Charlie since he was born. He got SO big! He was so adorably cute and sweet! I missed him a lot. I think he was almost 3 months old, but he seemed older. He was a very well behaved baby, but he was a little sickly. They ended driving home a bit early because he was developing a cold.
All in all, it was great getting to see everybody, especially the baby. Next time I see him, it will be summer, and he will be like 6 months old! EEK! |
